Marion C. W. Henry, MD, MPH, is a highly experienced pediatric surgeon who provides care to children of all ages who suffer from a wide spectrum of ailments. Her expertise encompasses the treatment of neonatal diseases and congenital malformations, prenatal counseling, childhood cancers, aerodigestive disorders, hernias and hydroceles, pediatric colorectal disease and thoracic lung abnormalities. She has training and experience in minimally invasive surgical techniques, using smaller incisions that lead to a faster recovery time and less patient discomfort and scarring.
Dr. Henry is committed to optimizing resources and systems to improve the quality of surgical care for all pediatric patients. With the help of a multidisciplinary team, she aims to provide compassionate, family-centered care using evidence-based treatments.
In addition to her clinical interests, Dr. Henry is a dedicated mentor and medical educator and has received several teaching honors. She has been a leader in medical and surgical education and faculty development. She continues to mentor and coach students, residents and fellows from several institutions.
Dr. Henry is a passionate surgical advocate and activist, working towards comprehensive, multidisciplinary approaches to fighting the epidemics of gun violence and healthcare disparities. She serves on several national committees working on these critical issues.
